The National Standards Assessment Program (NSAP) peer review process is available for all specialist palliative care services upon completion of the NSAP self-assessment. The peer review process validates and endorses the self-assessment undertaken by a service.
If you would like to register an expression of interest for your service to be reviewed, please email the NSAP team at nsap@palliativecare.org.au .
The role of the NSAP peer reviewer
Peer reviewers have an important role in mentoring services to support improvement efforts. They do this by:
-
reviewing and validating the NSAP self-assessment process
-
providing support and guidance regarding the NSAP improvement action plan
-
facilitating access to appropriate evidence
-
facilitating cross-sectoral collaboration.
NSAP peer reviewers are provided with training through the peer reviewer induction program and ongoing support to undertake this role.
Appointment will be for a period of two years. If you would like to express an interest for future positions - please email the NSAP team at nsap@palliativecare.org.au .

It is with pleasure that the National Standards Assessment Program announces it's peer reviewers for 2010-2011.
